Breakfast near LAX

(Facebook repost & update)

Flying in or out of Los Angeles?  Well, the Eagle got me hip to this spot near the airport called The Coffee Company.  I tried their Waffle of which was fine, but soon learned about their french toast of which I had to try.  However, for some reason when we returned, I forgot to get the french toast and ordered the waffle <frustrated sigh>.  Every time I walk out of this place and look over to another persons plate I say to myself, “DAGGIT, I was suppose to try the french toast this time!”  And this is when (J) would say, “LOSER” and as I would say, “I SUCK”.

The Coffee Company serves breakfast, lunch and dinner just so you know.  A nice spot!  I absolutely love the hanging flower pots out front.  Reminds me of my mother.  A great spot to hit up when taking someone to or arriving from the airport and in need of some good food.  As always the customer service is great, food arrives quickly and the prices are reasonable.

Freaking Fabulous French Toast

(Facebook repost)

OHHHH My gosh, like OHHHH My gosh!  People, have you been to Blu Jam Cafe?  (N) and I have and it was YUMMY.

Yeah, yeah, it’s breakfast.  Can’t you just figure out how to make it yourself?  Ok, yes, fine, but who wants to all the time and sometimes it’s nice to go out and treat yourself.

<sigh> As I was saying, Quenab (still trying it out and think I’ll keep it) ventured out to Blu Jam and boy were we glad we did.  Wait, can I first share how I love having someone I can physically (eating) express myself with.  Ok, I’m back.  So as I was saying, I really, really enjoyed this place.  They had great customer service, our waiter was fun, enjoyed my company and I REALLY enjoyed my french toast.

We both ordered the Crunchy French Toast which is their popular breakfast menu item.  It’s why most visit this establishment.  If you look them up on Facebook or Bing you’ll more than likely view this same photo over and over.  It’s served with fresh berries that fall along soft buttery toast that has been dipped in egg and coated in crunchy corn flakes topped with a dust of powered sugar.  Guys, you have to try this spot!  And get some bacon or whatever you like to balance out the sweetness.  You know, a sweet and salty combination.

Things I disliked, the journey of searching for street parking while in Hollywood, but at some point I have to accept it is what it is.
