Brownies from the Baby!

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, I absolutely love children in the kitchen.  Ok, fine I don’t like them when Im trying to complete something complicated, but until then, they are all welcomed.  The kitchen is still my favorite place and forever the heart of the home.  Therefor, all who are loved are welcomed.

Speaking of love, this little lovely stirred up a beautiful batch of brownies using her Little Bake Oven.  A baking queen in the making. <chuckle> Such a joy, right!  Her sister was the one practicing her cheesecakes with my mother over the summer.  Clearly there’s a little baking in all of us.

Well…

Soon she’ll be off, traveling the world sharing her creations with so many across the globe!  People will be fighting to simply get a glimpse of her.  Screaming and shouting while bits of chocolate morsels fly across the room! “Bake for us, bake for us!” the crowds will yell out.  Soon an entire clothing line will be created.  There will be chocolate flavored t-shirts encouraging people to lick the brownie image leaving a chocolate taste on your tongue – don’t worry, the kids will love it!

Did I go to far?  Whatever…

As I was saying, everyone loves brownies and everyone loves fun in the kitchen.

Well, I wouldn’t dare share her secret brownie recipe, but below are some yummy recipes you’re able to use.

RECIPE:

QUICK & EASY EGG FREE BROWNIES

1 1/3 cps All-Purpose Flour

1 cp Sugar

1/3 cp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 cp Water

1/2 cp Butter

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Mix all dry ingredients together then add the wet ingredients.  Dump into greased 8 or 9″ pan and bake for 20 minuets at 350 until your toothpick/knife is dry or till your liking.

Dedicated to my friend who can’t eat eggs.  Also, if you can’t have ANY dairy remove the butter and try vegetable oil.

FUDGE BROWNIES:

1 cp Melted Butter

1/2 cp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1 1/2 cps Sugar

3 eggs

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 1/4 cp Self Rising Flour

1/2 tsp Salt

Again, combine all dry first then insert your wet, one egg at a time.  Preset oven to 350 and bake for 30 minuets in a 9×13″ pan.  Check for texture after 25 minuets.
